New Music and CoMA

It is our ambition to be the primary ensemble commissioning new works in the East of England. Working alongside CoMA (Contemporary Music for All) as one of their associate ensembles, we engage with young and experienced composers around the region, performing new works and providing workshops for developing artists. Our mission is to create a culture of musical participation and collaboration whilst developing audiences from all backgrounds to create a sense of breadth and accessibility. We hope to achieve this by working with emerging, amateur, professional and acclaimed music-makers of all abilities to build musical communities and experiences with exciting programming with new repertoire. We work with music education providers and institutions such as....  to provide opportunities for all composers enabling new works to be performed by a professional ensemble built from core members of the Norwich Sinfonietta.
