Formed in 2021, the Norwich Sinfonietta team believe that providing orchestral opportunities for young musicians, such as concerto workshops, can help to improve the trajectory of the student’s musicianship, professionalism, and branding whilst giving them an opportunity to play with a full orchestra and developing an understanding of how to communicate with the different colours an orchestral accompaniment can bring. It is our ambition to continue to offer opportunities to local and national students at various points throughout the year, alongside concerts around East Anglia and other charitable music events. Norwich Sinfonietta is a non-profit organisation and as such, we operate purely from funds raised at events, donations, and kind support from other organisations.
